While the holiday itself is a celebration of the reception of the Ten Commandments to the people, it is commonly celebrated and considered one of three annual “feast” holidays in Jewish tradition.

The irony of this particular situation is that Takosher offers something to with which to celebrate the holiday, but because it is a holiday, Takosher does not operate, and therefore we are unable to offer the Takosher “Harvest” today.

In any case, please have a great day, relax and enjoy.

Word on the street is that if you really want to do it right, you cheese blintzes are the way to go today.

Every now and again, its just time to says thanks for the support and thank you in general. Believe it or not, we make every effort to make each and every plate something special for each person eating. Eating is more than fuel. It has the potential for a dining experience with meaning and purpose. There is a spirituality to eating, and everything that comes out of our window aims to hold a piece of that spirit within it.

At this time, we have nothing more than to say thank you all for everything. Our menu is growing, we are beginning our work in schools, our event calendar is filling, and we just can’t thank you all enough.
